£1000 winner from Fleet

We spoke to a lovely winner from Fleet recently, he shared with us that his mother-in-law needed care for 10 years and his father-in-law needed hospice care for 6 months. He supports the hospices because he understands the value of the hospices’ services and is very thankful to the special people that provide them.

When we asked him what he might spend his prize money on, he told us such an interesting story we wanted to share it:

‘My father-in-law was a British Engineer through and through and loved British cars. When he passed away, he left us a small inheritance, and we used it to buy an older Aston Martin. We spent a wonderful two weeks last year touring around Europe and we really want to go again this year, but the car needs an upgrade to enable us to do this. The prize will really help with paying for the upgrade and we will be able to tour Europe in our beloved car again this year!”
