Brenda Blethyn, star of the hit drama ‘Vera’ officially opened Shooting Star Children’s Hospices Godalming shop and visited the Surrey hospice, Christopher’s, alongside singer/songwriter, Julie Forsyth.
The pair were greeted by a huge crowd eager to meet, take photos, and chat with them before Brenda cut the ribbon.
Brenda also used her detective skills to scout out some amazing bargains at the shop, while admiring the specially designed ‘Vera’ inspired shop window.
Brenda and Julie met with families supported by us for some delicious tea and cake and special activities. Everyone had a wonderful time and we want to thank both Brenda and Julie for their continued support of Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
