Autumn Clearance Plant Sale

Local hospice care charity Phyllis Tuckwell will be holding its final plant sale of 2021 on Sunday 3^rd October, from 10am to 1pm at the Hospice in Farnham. There are hundreds of plants already at low prices and all will be buy-one-get-one-free! It is the perfect time for planting, so come and pick up a bargain for your garden.

These monthly plants sales run from May to October and are always well stocked with a wide range of plants. All of the money they raise goes directly to help fund the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. So far this year they have raised an amazing total of £2,883, enough to pay for over a month’s care from one of Phyllis Tuckwell’s Health Care Assistants (HCAs) on its In-Patient Unit. HCAs can care for up to five patients each, and offer important emotional support to patients’ families too.

“We’re so pleased to have been able to hold our plant sales this spring and summer,” said Ruth Masters, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We’d like to thank everyone who has donated plants to be sold or come along to buy, as well as our wonderful volunteers who have helped out at the sales. Please do come and support our final plant sale of 2021!”

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is situated on the corner of Waverley Lane and Menin Way, Farnham, GU9 8BL, and is fully wheelchair accessible. Phyllis Tuckwell’s volunteers will be on hand at the sales and can offer general advice.
