We’re looking forward to opening the doors of your new Hospice building in spring 2026!

This amazing new space will truly transform the way in which we are able to provide our care, and enable us to support so many more local patients and families who need our specialist services. It sees our organisation take the next step in what has been a remarkable history.

Built on the vision of two extraordinary founders – Sir Edward Tuckwell and one of his patients, Yvonne Dale – we are one of the oldest hospices in South-East England. Since we first opened our doors, back in 1979, we have continually developed, improved and expanded our services, and now care for over 250 patients, relatives and carers every day.

Thanks to our generous supporters, who believe in our cause as passionately as we do, we have been able to complete this much-needed next step in our care, which will equip us for both now and the future.

Moments like this, when we mark a milestone in our organisation, remind us of how far we have come over the years. We couldn’t have done this without the support of our wonderful community, so thank you for being a part of it.
