Confidence through Cooking

Recently some of Phyllis Tuckwell’s patients attended a Confidence through Cooking session, part of the Living Well Creative Programme held at The Beacon Centre in Guildford.
They got hands-on making cous cous stuffed peppers that smelt amazing, along with irresistible chocolate and ginger refrigerator squares.

Patients gained skills to help them cook confidently in their own kitchens, and it’s not just about the food – these sessions are a space to connect, chat and share stories with fellow patients, nurses, and volunteers.
