This week some of the male patients at Phyllis Tuckwell were treated to a relaxing pamper day run by the complementary therapy team.

They were offered manicures, pedicures, and haircuts from a volunteer hairdresser Julze, and enjoyed lunch and a chat together.

One patient, Scott, had his hair trimmed and dyed electric blue! “It’s been 40 years since I’ve had this hairstyle!” he said, “If it makes anyone smile, then I’m very happy.’
