Phyllis Tuckwell’s Autumn Plant Clearance – buy one get one free!

Phyllis Tuckwell’s last monthly plant sale of 2022 will take place at the Hospice on Sunday 2^nd October, and all plants will be buy-one-get-one-free on the day! There will be hundreds of plants on sale at low prices, as Phyllis Tuckwell clears its stocks before the winter months, so do pop along. After this date, any remaining plants will still be available to purchase from the Hospice, but the organised monthly sales will be concluding for the year.

Phyllis Tuckwell’s monthly plant sales take place on the first Sunday of every month, from April to October, and after this Sunday’s sale they will resume again in April 2023. The sales are held at the Hospice from 10am-1pm, and all of the money that they raise goes directly towards helping fund the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Phyllis Tuckwell’s volunteers will also be on hand at the sale and can offer general advice.

“It is the best possible time for planting, especially as our weather patterns have now settled! We’ve got a huge number of plants on sale at low prices, and we’re offering them all buy-one-get-one-free in our autumn clearance sale,” said Ruth Masters, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “Our plant sales have raised a fantastic £3,293 so far this year – thank you so much to all those who have donated plants and those who have come along to buy them. It would be wonderful if we could make this last sale the best one yet!”

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is situated on the corner of Waverley Lane and Menin Way, Farnham, GU9 8BL, and is fully wheelchair accessible.
