Plant Sale Will Help You Get Ready For Spring

Get your garden ready for spring with Phyllis Tuckwell’s plant sales! These monthly sales are starting early this year, with the first held on Sunday 5th March, from 10am-1pm, at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham. There will be a wide range of plants on offer at bargain prices, so you’ll be able to fill your garden borders and patio pots with flowers ready to burst open through the spring and summer months.

Phyllis Tuckwell’s monthly plant sales will take place this year on the first Sunday of every month, from March to July. They are held at the Hospice from 10am-1pm, and all of the money that they raise goes directly towards helping fund the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Phyllis Tuckwell volunteers will be on hand at the sales and can offer general advice.

If you aren’t able to make it on the day, don’t worry, as Phyllis Tuckwell has a range of plants available to buy throughout the week too! Simply pop along to the Hospice, browse through the plants just outside the main entrance, and pay at the reception desk. Last year Phyllis Tuckwell raised a fantastic £6,326.72 through sales of plants, which is enough to pay for over two months’ care from one of its counsellors, whose support can help patients and their families with the emotional impact of living with an advanced or terminal illness.

“We’re really pleased to start our monthly plant sales early this year, giving our supporters a head-start on getting their gardens ready for spring,” said Ruth Masters, Head of Community, Corporate and Events Fundraising at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We have a huge number and wide variety of plants on offer, all at very low prices, so do come along to pick up a few bargains!”
