Renovations at Phyllis Tuckwell

Phyllis Tuckwell will shortly be starting work on converting the men’s ward on the In-Patient Unit into two private rooms with en-suite facilities.

The new rooms will help reduce the risk of infection whilst also ensuring patients and their families have more privacy and comfort during their stay.

Note from Phyllis Tuckwell about renovations: ” Whilst we make adjustments to the ward we will have a fewer beds but we are hoping to return numbers back to pre-pandemic levels as soon as we can. We are doing everything possible to make sure we have beds available for patients when they need them and we are also working hard in the community caring for people in their homes.”
