We may not be able to watch the sunrise together this year but that doesn’t mean we can’t virtually watch it together. Simply sign up to the Virtual Sunrise Walk!

More information from Shooting Star Children’s Hospices below;

Do the Sunrise Walk your way any day in May or June – whether you walk around your local park at sunrise or you step out into your garden, get your daily exercise whilst seeing the sun come up (or go down if you’d prefer!).

Or, if you’re local to Richmond or Guildford, why not take on one of our pre-planned routes? Choose from either the 10k distance or go all out and do the full 20k – we can provide you with our official Sunrise Walk routes or you can plan you own.

Walking with children? Download our children’s activity sheet to keep them occupied during and after the walk.

Whatever you choose to do, we encourage you and those in your household to get up bright and early, watch the sunrise and help us to make every moment count for families who need Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, now and in the future.

Although going virtual with our Sunrise Walk series means we won’t have our memory tree this year to hang your stunning lanterns on, we want to give you and those who would have walked with you the chance to leave messages of celebration and dedication on our virtual Sunrise Walk memory tree.

Once you’ve done your Virtual Sunrise Walk, let us know and we’ll send you an electronic certificate. Plus, when we’re back in the office we’ll send each of you a special Sunrise Walk 2020 medal.

There’s no minimum sponsorship for this event, we are just asking you to raise what you can – maybe put the money you would normally spend on your morning coffee, your lunch, your travel or your post work drink aside and put this towards your sponsorship. Create your sponsorship page easily via JustGiving.
