We all scream for Ice Cream!

Even though it’s cold and wet now, a bit of summer is here to stay at Shooting Star Children’s Hospices thanks to this amazing giant ice cream van. The children staying at the hospice for respite care over the past few months have all been decorating it, and its official unveiling with ice cream took place in the hospice garden last week.
Aaron was very keen to play the role of ice cream seller, while Miles got behind the wheel and Rosie enjoyed the texture, smells and flavours of a variety of ice creams. While the children have all had to be kept apart due to infection control rules, the project meant they could still create something together.
