Royal Visit to Shooting Star Children’s Hospices

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices had a truly special visit today from their Royal Patron, HRH The Countess of Wessex.

The Countess spent time talking with each family, decorated heart-shaped biscuits and even read a short story (complete with sensory actions for everyone to join in).

The Countess thanked nurses and care staff for their care and dedication before leaving with a canvas handmade by supported children.
