Brighten Up Your Garden with Phyllis Tuckwell’s Plant Sales

From bedding plants to veggies and even trees, a wide variety of plants are on sale at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice

Come along to Phyllis Tuckwell’s monthly plant sale on Sunday 4^th July for some horticultural bargains, and brighten up your garden for the summer. With holiday plans hanging in the balance, we all may be spending a bit more time in our gardens than usual this year, so why not take the opportunity to make yours into a beautiful oasis of colour where you can enjoy a relaxing staycation.

“Our monthly plant sales always include a wide variety of plants at low prices, so they’re a great place to pick up some bargains, at the same time as supporting an important local charity,” said Ruth Masters, Community and Events Fundraising Manager at Phyllis Tuckwell. “We will be holding them on the first Sunday of every month, from May to October, and are looking forward to welcoming people along. They will be held outside as usual, and to help with Covid safety we will ensure social distancing is adhered to and encourage everyone who comes along to wear a facemask.”

The July plant sale will be held at the Hospice in Farnham on Sunday 4^th July, from 10am-1pm. All of the money raised will go directly to help fund the supportive and end of life care which Phyllis Tuckwell provides for local patients and families who are living with an advanced or terminal illness, such as cancer. Phyllis Tuckwell’s volunteers will also be on hand at the sales and can offer general advice.

During the pandemic Phyllis Tuckwell had to cancel its plant sales and most of its fundraising events and activities. Now that it is able to start holding events again, the money raised is more important than ever, so please do come along and support local Hospice Care, at the same time as picking up some beautiful plants for your garden.

Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice is situated on the corner of Waverley Lane and Menin Way, Farnham, GU9 8BL, and is fully wheelchair accessible.
